- Must have: Fetal monitor interpretation, high risk antepartum care active labor management, c-section circulation, post-partum care, circumcision assist procedures, bili light care, lab draw from mother and baby, magnesium administration for pre-eclamptic patients
- Advanced skills needed: NRP, BLS
- Procedures performed on unit: C-section, circumcision, vaginal deliveries, antepartum testing, ultra sounds

- Unit Name: LDRP
- Number of Beds: 11 Labor Beds/ 2 Triage/ 2 OR
- Patient Ratios: 1:1 Laboring patients 3:1 Couplets
- Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability): Birth Registrar/Surgical OR Techs
- Type of equipment: Monica- wireless fetal monitoring/ GE fetal monitoring
- Documentation system: Meditech/ CPN
- Floating policy: Float to Sister Facility LD/PP
- Patient Experience requirements: Bedside Report/ Safety Rounding
- The unit is a small close-knit family-oriented unit. The nurses promote a team work atmosphere.
