About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $1923 To $2136 **Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Labor and Delivery **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15); 4x12s available if preferred **Guaranteed Hours:** The facility may call off up to 36 hours per thirteen-week assignment. **Experience:** Minimum 5 years required **License:** Must have an active IL license to apply **Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring required **Must-Have:** Teaching hospital experience preferred, EFM interpretation skills/experience required **Job Description:** - Work in a 20-room labor and delivery unit. - First-time candidates are accepted. - Weekend work is required every third weekend. - The position is not on-call. - Clinicians may float to meet facility needs. - Open to accommodating block schedules; discuss with the manager. - Discuss time-off requests directly with the manager. - Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. - Orientation includes 16 non-billable hours. - Experience with Cerner charting is required. - Compliance with COVID-19 and Flu Vaccine requirements; exemptions considered for flu vaccine. - Background policy compliance is required before submission. - Non-local candidates accepted; readiness for floating is mandatory. - Modules are non-billable up to 16 hours, completed virtually on the first day, then annually. **Additional Notes:** - The facility is an acute care hospital with magnet status and a Level I trauma center. - Scrubs will be provided for this role. - The facility has a total of 562 staffed beds.
