About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $2519 To $2798 **Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Labor and Delivery **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Night 4x12-Hour (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) - open to 3x12s if preferred **Guaranteed Hours:** Facility may call off up to 36 hours per thirteen-week assignment without compensation **Experience:** Minimum 5 years of experience required **License:** Active IL nursing license required. Pending licenses may be accepted situationally. **Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, Advanced Fetal Monitoring **Must-Have:** Teaching hospital experience preferred; EFM interpretation skills required **Job Description:** - Work in a 20-room labor and delivery unit at an acute care hospital. - Handle various responsibilities related to labor and delivery nursing. - Float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals if needed. - Accommodate block schedule requests through discussion with the manager. - Work every third weekend and a minimum of two out of three major holidays. - Participate in an orientation with 16 non-billable hours. - Complete required modules virtually on the first day and annually thereafter. - Utilize Cerner charting system; ensure you have relevant experience. **Additional Requirements:** - Comply with hospital and unit-specific certifications. - Understand background policy for seeking approval prior to an offer. - Ensure compliance with flu vaccine requirements; medical or religious exemptions may apply.
