About the Job
- The RN partners with our residents and other care providers to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment by providing direct and indirect care.
- 3 East is a 31-bed specialized unit, working with Alzheimer's/dementia residents, tailoring care to meet their needs.
- The Transitional Rehabilitation Unit occupies the second floor of d'Youville Pavilion, a 42-bed unit providing short-term nursing and rehab services.
- 3 West is a 42-bed long-term care unit, providing needed care in a home-like environment.
Job Details
- Associates in Nursing required.
- Valid State of Maine or compact RN license required.
- 1-3 years previous RN experience preferred.
- Medical terminology knowledge preferred.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills required.
- Ability to work well within a team of other care providers.
- Flexibility to cover 24 hours/day, 7 days per week.
- Flexibility to float to other units as needed.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the above requirements.

Schedule Information

Unit Specific Information
- Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid.
- St. Mary's has the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
- Candidate must reside outside of a 50 mile radius.
