About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $2227 To $2474 **Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Long Term Care Rehabilitation (LTC CWR) **Job Duration:** 13-week contract **Shift:** 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 5x8, Every other weekend, Holiday requirement **Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week **Experience:** Minimum of 1-year prior experience as an RN in a subacute long-term care or rehab facility **License:** NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license **Certifications:** BLS - AHA **Must-Have:** At least 2 years of experience in LTC **Job Description:** - Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered nursing and rehabilitation services. - Support the Unit Manager in maintaining clinical standards and ensuring positive patient experiences. - Administer medications, treatments, and nursing care as ordered for all assigned residents. - Complete documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines. - Supervise and assign duties to nursing personnel on the unit. - Establish and implement nursing care plans, utilizing nursing diagnoses in collaboration with supervisory staff. - Accurately prioritize and complete routine assignments within established guidelines and schedules. - Provide emotional support by recognizing the psychosocial needs and effects on patient behavior. - Maintain accurate records and report changes in patient conditions to the Charge Nurse. - Ensure sufficient inventory of medications, equipment, and supplies on the unit. - Record and interpret patient responses to treatment, reporting findings to the interdisciplinary team. - Represent nursing staff in committees as requested by supervisors. - Stay current with nursing trends and maintain professional competence through continuing education and in-service programs. - Foster positive relationships and communication with team members, patients, families, and visitors. - Assist with the orientation of new team members to prepare them for essential job functions. - Report problems promptly to the Manager. This role requires adaptability and a team-oriented approach to problem-solving through frequent communication and collaboration on complex issues. Proficiency in English (both spoken and written) is necessary.
