About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $2227 To $2474 **Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Long Term Care - Subacute/Rehabilitation **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 5x8, Every other weekend, Holiday requirement: yes **Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week **Experience:** Minimum 1-year prior experience working as an RN in a subacute long term care/rehab facility. Required at least 2 years experience in Long Term Care. **License:** NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license **Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) **Must-Have:** - Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (ASN required, BSN preferred) - Demonstrated team approach to problem-solving - Experience with a variety of patient conditions and ages - Adaptability **Job Description:** - Deliver patient-centered nursing and rehabilitation services as part of a multidisciplinary team. - Support the Unit Manager in maintaining excellent clinical standards and enhancing the patient experience. - Ensure all assigned residents receive prescribed medications, treatments, and nursing care. - Complete all required documentation as per state and federal guidelines. - Supervise and assign tasks to nursing personnel on the unit. - Establish and implement nursing care plans in cooperation with the supervisor and nursing personnel. - Prioritize and complete routine assignments consistently and independently. - Recognize psychosocial needs and intervene to provide emotional support when necessary. - Maintain accurate and informative records for all patients in the unit. - Identify and report potential problems in patient care development or administration. - Manage inventory of medications, equipment, and supplies on the unit. - Record, report, and interpret patient responses to treatment to the interdisciplinary team. - Identify and assess changes in patient conditions and report to the charge nurse. - Maintain and use equipment according to facility policy and specifications. - Participate and represent nursing staff on committees as requested by supervisors. - Identify patient needs and treatment opportunities and provide ongoing services to meet those needs. - Maintain professional competence and stay updated with Occupational Health and nursing trends through education and training. - Foster good relationships and communication with team members, patients, families, and visitors. - Assist in the orientation of new team members and provide experiences to prepare them for independent performance of essential job functions. - Report problems to the Manager promptly. This role includes a floating requirement. Fluency in English is required for reading, writing, and speaking.
