LOCALS APPROVED AT TRAVEL RATE - this job does not require Oncology certification as the nurse for this role will be primarily working at the desk.
ASSIGNMENT WILL BE AT THE EDMONDS CAMPUS - EDMONDS WA - 25 MIN FROM THE MAIN FIRST HILL CAMPUS.
If your traveler has worked for any Providence affiliated facility as a perm staff – they must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3. months to qualify for a travel contract. Compact licenses are honored.

PATIENT DIGANOSES:
Adult oncology and hematology patients
SPECIAL PROCEDURES:
They will be working in our outpatient treatment center with 17 chairs and 2 beds. We are closed weekends and holidays. We have six physicians and one ARNP. The clinic is two floors. The provider offices, exam rooms, and lab are located on the first floor. The treatment center and pharmacy is located on the second floor. We need someone with current chemotherapy administration experience. Also they need to be comfortable with accessing/working with ports, working with PICCs, and starting peripheral IVs. Ideally, we would like someone that would be willing to work 5 8 hour shifts rotating with 4 9 hours shifts. However, a schedule of 4 9 hour shifts per week would be acceptable as well.
CERTS: BCLS required
SKILLS: Ports and PICCs required
