- Required Licenses and Certifications: Current MI RN license, AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS
Certification Details
- Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical
- Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 72 biweekly. OT after 80 hours worked in 2nd week.
- General Job Duties: general nursing skills. Generally will see geriatric patients with CHF or COPD, Diabetic Ketoacidosis, surgical patients admitted for close observation, and other general medical concerns.
Job Details
- Minimum Experience (yrs in specialty): Experienced MS RN – 2+ years. Must have ICU and ER experience.
- Strong critical thinking, ability to learn new systems quickly, good teamwork and communication skills, prioritization skills
Job Requirements
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start dates: asap
- Shift Requirements: Variable D/N
- Shift start and end times: 7a-7p, and 7p-7a
- Weekend/Holiday Rotation Requirements: every other weekend/holiday
Schedule Information
- Unit Information (Bed size, Case types, Patient ratios, etc.): Med Surg, a 25 bed unit Patient Ratio Day 1:4-1:5 NOC 1:6 average
- Scrub Colors required: Any colored scrubs
