Certification Details
- Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical
- Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36 hrs
- Shift Requirements: 12 hr variable day/pm shifts
- Float to all inpatient units as needed
- Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend and every other holiday
- Minimum Experience: 2 years. Trauma level II experience highly preferred.
- Charting Experience: EPIC required.
- Desired skillset: Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates: Able to manage independently and complete tasks timely, willingness to ask questions and collaborate with team and ancillary staff to ensure the best patient experience possible. Positive attitude and flexibility with constant changes which can occur throughout a shift.
- Scrub Colors: any color scrubs
- GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.

Schedule Information
- Unit Information: MAP Unit – Medical and Pediatrics (Medical and Pediatrics – travelers do not take Peds patients)
- The major conditions/most frequent diagnoses treated: Adults - respiratory illnesses, stroke, other neurological conditions (such as seizure disorders, Multiple Sclerosis, chronic back pain), gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, sepsis, wound care, clotting disorders, other infectious disease processes, and acute alcohol withdrawal.
- Typical patient ratios on days 1:4-5 and on nights 1:6-7
