About the Job
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
- Complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation - TCAR within six months of hire
- National Institutes of Health (NIH) NIHSS NIH Stroke Scale must be completed within 6 months of hire
Certification Details
- Fingerprinting must be submitted and cleared prior to start! Must have experience in MedSurg!!!
- The Clinical Nurse performs a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments, and ability to work independently in completing assignments.
- Guidelines include physicians orders, standards of care, nursing policies and procedures manuals, hospital policies.
- Nursing duties include support to individuals of all ages and their families.
- The Registered Nurse performs a variety of responsible nursing care procedures on this 30 bed adult med/surg unit.
- Overtime after 40 hrs a week or 80 hrs a pay period or over the 7 shifts.
- Requiring professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments and ability to work independently in completing assignments.
- As a member of the health care team, serves as Clinical Nurse performing professional nursing duties for the care of inpatients.
- Nursing duties include the provision of patient care and support to individuals of all ages and their families.
Job Details
- Must have and maintain current valid certifications of the following throughout employment.
- Tuba City Regional Healthcare does not require your RN to have an AZ state license, a nursing license from any state of the United States of America is acceptable.

Schedule Information
- This 30 bed adult med/surg unit.
- The staff of medical providers includes surgeons, general medical officers, internal medicine, psychiatrists, pediatricians, family practice physicians, obstetricians, ENT specialists, orthopedic surgeons, and urologists.
- Dental staff includes general dentists, endodontists, oral and maxillofacial surgeons, pediatric dentists, dental assistants and hygienists.
- The nursing staff includes registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, nursing assistants, community health nurses, nurse practitioners, nurse midwives, CRNA, and community health medics.
Unit Specific Information
- ORIENTATION: Every two (2) weeks only.
- COVID EXEMPTIONS: We do not accept religious exemptions. If a candidate submits for a medical exemption, we will have to get approval from our medical review board to proceed with onboarding.
- HOUSING APPLICATION: must be submitted 2 weeks prior to start date.
