- Travel/Contract position.
- Focus on renal and limb preservation patients; includes ESRD, ARF, vascular procedures, CHF, diabetics, and diabetic foot ulcer patients.
- 41-bed inpatient unit with telemetry capability.
- Interdisciplinary team approach with daily meetings to ensure best care.
- Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR systems in use.
- Self-Scheduling, per the Unit Needs.
- Scrubs not provided – Colors: Navy or White.
Job Details
- Minimum 1 Year Experience in related field.
- Unit WILL Accept 1st time travelers.
- Skills: Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias.
Job Requirements
- 13 weeks+ contracts up to March 15, 2025 to cover the Holidays.
- *36 or 48 hrs hours can be offered. No OT billed until after 48 hrs.
- 12 HOUR NIGHTS shifts.
- Every Other Weekend Requirement.
- Float Requirement: Yes.
- 24 hours of unit orientation (2 shifts with preceptor plus EMR education).
Schedule Information
- Unit is a 41-bed inpatient unit with a focus on renal and limb preservation.
- Telemetry capability present.
- Patients receive hemodialysis treatments in the hemodialysis unit.
- Peritoneal dialysis patients receive treatments on the unit with initiation by the dialysis team.
Unit Specific Information
- RTO after booking is not allowed.
- Any call offs or additional RTO on unit could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.
