- Modules must to be done before start, they average 3-4 hrs to complete-this time is not billable
- DYSRHYTHMIA EXAM (BASIC) THROUGH RELIAS - pass or fail with two attempts

Job Requirements
- 12 hr shifts
- Shift starts 645
- Report is at the bedside
- OT and extra shifts are available
- Self-scheduling is used, but is not finalized until Manager balances it
- Schedules are out 4 weeks
- Travelers can access their schedules from home and make themselves 'available' for extra shifts and make trades with other staff
- Block scheduling is generally not available
- Every other weekend requirement

- Ratios: 1:4-5
- EMR: Cerner
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holidays: Rotate in with core staff
- Scrub Color: Navy - under shirts must be navy, white, or black
- Scrub jackets are optional, must be navy
- Tele: Yes, must be able to read and interpret EKG strips
- Vents: No
- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Yes
- IV Team: No
- RT 24/7: Yes
- Pharmacy 24/7: Yes
- Floating: Mid-shift float to another facility is rare
- Floor specific orientation: 1 - 2 days on the floor with preceptor
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Bariatrics, abdominal plasty, mastectomy, short stay elective postops
- Travelers oriented to surgeon's specifics' protocols
- Also OB overflow couplets, OB RNs float to cover these
Unit Specific Information
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications required
- COVID Vaccine Required (Certification)
- Travelers will work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years)
- Holiday time off will be considered, however not guaranteed
