Certification Details
- NO MORE THAN 7 DAYS RTO
- BLACKOUT DATES - NO RTO ACCEPTABLE FOR: - 12/22-12/28
- MUST have NICU IV experience. RECENT Trach and Vent Exp REQUIRED.
- MUST be able to ROTATE - travelers will rotate shifts every 3-4 weeks - facility will try to accommodate straight shifts if the schedule allows but will not be able to list that on contract, should schedule needs change.
- Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday.

- Ratios: Depends on the acuity of the unit so there are various ratios (1:1; 1:2; 1:3, 1:4 (rarely happens)). Most common for majority of patients would be 1:2
- Shifts: D/N Rotating – Rotating is not within the same week; every few weeks
- Years of experience REQ: 2+ years of experience
- First-timers accepted: No
- Weekend REQ: EOW
- Certs REQ: BLS

- Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes – will float to other critical care units. No Age Cut Off – may have patients of any age
- Open to accommodating block schedule? They will work the best they can but cannot guarantee

- Pending License accepted: Yes – must show screenshot of license pending and provide the date the license application was submitted
- NO BG hits or License hits allowed – no exemptions accepted
- RTO Restrictions: no more than 1 week – if missing a full week – must make up at the end of contract
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 – open to 48 hours with no OT until after 48 hours
- Special Requirements: MUST have NICU IV experience. RECENT Trach and Vent Exp REQUIRED.
- More Department Details: Will be dealing with the highest level of care for premature and ill newborns, as designated by The American Academy of Pediatrics.
- Offer the full range of pediatric medical subspecialists, pediatric surgical subspecialists, and pediatric anesthesiologists on site.
- Perform complex surgical procedures to repair complex congenital or acquired conditions.
- Coordinate all aspects of care for conditions and associated complications including: coagulation defects, congenital heart defects, Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), gastrointestinal disorders, genetic and/or metabolic disorders, prematurity, respiratory distress and failure, pulmonary hypertension, renal disorders and sepsis and septic shock.
- Missed shifts are required to be made up within the same week.
