Position / Specialty: Radiation Oncology RNShift: 5x8s Days (0) - *Schedule will vary based on department and unit needs. Traveler will work 8 or 10hr shifts each week*Avg. If Candidates are placed on-call in lieu of being called off, that will count as a called-off shift.Special Requirements: Required Care of Patient With: Bladder/Kidney Cancer, Brain cancer, Breast Cancer, Colorectal Cancer, Ear/Nose/Throat Cancers, Kidney Cancer, Liver Cancer, Lung cancer, Melanoma, Multiple Myeloma, Lymphoma/Non-Hodgkins lymphoma, Ovarian Cancer/Uterine Cancer, Pancreatic Cancer, Prostate Cancer. Ability to Recognize/ communicate abnormal lab values required. Experience/skills with Starting IVs required. Required Medication Skills/Experience: Antiemetic, Antibiotic, Corticosteroids. Required Professional Knowledge and Skills: Colostomy care and management, Foley catheter insertion/management, Isolation Precautions, Neutropenic precautions, Tracheostomy care/management, Wound care. Required Symptom management Skills/Experience: Alteration in skin and mucous membranes, Altered mental status, Constipation/diarrhea, Dysphagia, Edema, Nausea/vomiting, Neuropathy. Post surgical care experience required. EMR experience required.
