Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Description: Clinical review and auto offerNightsThe Inpatient Oncology unit located on 3 South, is a 28 bed adult acute care hematology/oncology unit as well as a 15-bed intermediate care (IMU) Stem Cell Transplant Unit (SCTU). Joining the Inpatient Oncology team gives new nurses the opportunity to train in both levels of care and gain deep knowledge of the care for the oncology patient. The nurse to patient ratio for 3 South is 1:4, while in SCTU it is 1:3 due to the higher level of care for both day shift and night shift. Can offer 36 or 48 hours13 weeks10/28, 11/11, or 11/25 startEvery other weekend, must work 2 out of 3 winter holidaysCan have 40 hours max for time offONS cert required, please attach cert with submission, can submit with second part of cert pending provided clinician has completed the first partBLS, ACLS preferred not requiredMust adhere to UVAs float policyCan submit with VA license pendingMust have Epic experience Modified Time:10/28/2024 12:00:00 AM COVID-19 Vaccine: Not Required Flu Vaccine: Required - No Exemptions Submittals:Low Submittal Details: #Tier2 Travel ComplianceRTO - Travelers are only guaranteed up to 40 hours of RTO per 13-week contract. The facility will try to accommodate any additional time off that exceeds the allotted 40 hours.If traveler has any vacation plans during the period between Sign Date and Start Date, this must be communicated to the Account Manager at the time of submission to ensure a realistic start date may be requestedExperience - Please refer to the job description for required experience.Valid State License - Will accept pending licenses, but must have license in-hand the Wednesday before start date. However, RRT travelers must have license in-hand at time of submissionMile Radius Rule - select units have a 50 mile travel restriction, any units not listed do not have a mile radius rule.
