TRAVEL – RN – ORTHO - COST CENTER (611) / 7:00PM-7:00AM Hospital: Location: Address:HCA Florida North Florida Hospital 6500 W Newberry Rd Gainesville, FL 32605 Unit: 611 Ortho/Spine Med-Surg Building: South Tower General Information Unit Specifics: · Number of Beds :30 · Patient Ratios : 7:1 · Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : 1 unit secretary, 3 patient care techs · Type of equipment : Lift equipment, bladder scanners, ultrasound IV machine, mobile vital sign carts · Documentation system: Meditech · Scheduling requirements: Rotating weekends · Floating policy: Travelers float first (does not happen often) · Patient Experience requirements: Unit leadership tracks patient experience Hospital Specifics- · Certifications: Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: BLS Must have : Advanced skills needed: Procedures performed on unit: Certifications Required: Dress Code : (Required uniform) · Navy Scrubs Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please attach unit specific policies and guidelines. · Awards/Recognition: Please include anything that you would like prospective candidates to be aware of, such as, links to videos that feature the department, outstanding department/team awards.. · Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment: Consider items such as new equipment or technology, tenure and experience of staff, schedule options, etc. · Lots of experienced ortho staff · Very engaged unit leadership · All private-room unit · Self-scheduling prior to schedule posting · Ortho moved to a brand new floor in 2020.
