About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** PACU (Peri Anesthesia Care Unit) **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Day 4x9.5-Hour (05:30 - 15:00); Day 3x12-Hour (10:00 - 19:30); Variable shifts 4x9's, variable between the hours of 5:30 AM and 8:00 PM **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year required **License:** Active nursing license required by the start date **Certifications:** ACLS, BCLS, PALS required **Must-Have:** Out of state travelers only **Job Description:** - Provide pre and post-operative care for a wide array of specialties and age ranges. Specialties include ENT, General Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Gynecology, Plastics, Breast, Urology, and Orthopedics. - Required skills and experience include a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, along with certifications in ACLS, BCLS, and PALS. - Preferred experience in charge nurse roles, Cerner electronic health record familiarity, experience in teaching hospitals, and TNCC certification. - Participate in shared call requirements, including 2 weekdays per month and one 24-hour weekend shift every other month. - Must be able to float to SDS, PACU, and occasionally Endoscopy, with weekend requirements approximately every 6th weekend. - Orientation includes three 9-hour shifts. - Scrubs will be provided or navy blue scrubs can be worn. - Must comply with mandatory COVID-19 vaccination requirements, with no exemptions. Note: Smoking is prohibited on facility premises.
