About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $2413 To $2681 Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Step-Down Job Duration: 13 weeks (with possibility of extension up to 24 weeks) Shift: Day/Night rotating shift - 3x12-Hour (7:00 pm - 7:30 am / 7:00 am - 7:30 pm) Guaranteed Hours: N/A Experience: Minimum 18 months recent Cardiac Step-Down experience; PCU/Progressive care experience preferred but not required. Permanent experience in the specialty applying for prior to travel is mandatory. License: Permanent Ohio License or Compact State License required before submission Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health (NIH) Must-Have: - Minimum 18 months permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel. - Two references from a manager, assistant manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty. - Perm and travel references required if applicable. - Active certifications with nothing pending. - Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation. Job Description: - Rotating shifts consist of 2 weeks on days followed by 2 weeks on nights. - Orientation includes ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment, requiring an acceptable score. - Traveler must work at least every other holiday. - Background hits reviewed but no acceptance of open cases. - Facility exemption from Nicotine Free Requirements for Nurses is temporary. - Completion of BCI/FBI prints within 48 hours of signing contract is imperative. - Badge collection and fingerprinting to be completed on-site prior to the start date.
