- Min 1 year PCU/Tele exp
- ACLS,BLS, NIH required
- PCU is a 48-bed cardiac telemetry unit. We primarily receive patients from the ED, cath lab and other inpatient units. Nurse to patient ratio is 4:1and can go to 5:1 depending on unit needs.
- Utilization of PCAs (CNAs) and LPNs in a team nursing approach.
- Fast paced unit with quick patient turnover.
- In need of nurses who are comfortable taking care of patients on drips including amiodarone, cardizem, dopamine, dobutamine, nitro, lasix and insulin.
- Must have post cardiac cath procedure experience.
- We expect timely discharge of our patients, hourly rounding and bedside shift report completed on all patients.
- Floating is required if needed.
- Every other weekend coverage.
- Scheduling is based on unit needs
