Job Requirements3 years of PACU experience with recent experience.Must be able to read tele strips.Required to have ICU experience.Experience with Pre-Operative and Post Operative procedures.Must be proficient in Cardiac Drips, IVS, Tele Monitoring, PH 1 Care, Groin management, EKGs.Trauma Level 1 Experience necessary.Previous travel nursing experience needed.Able to work in a Pre-Post Vascular, Robotic TAVRS, Pediatric CATHs environment.Capable of Pre and Post Procedure TEE/CV/ CATH/EP OR Procedures.
Schedule Information12-hour night shifts.Scheduled every other weekend.Rotating call requirements.May include weekend day shifts.
Unit Specific InformationThe unit has 40 pre-post beds and 9 overnight bays for 23-hour short stays.Patient ratios are 2:1 for Phase 1 Care and up to 3-4 for 23-hour stays.Equipment includes IV PUMPS, PCAS, Epidurals, A lines, Tele Monitoring, TEE/CV.The EMR system used is Epic.
Additional DetailsMust be a team player with excellent communication skills and a flexible, can-do attitude.Preference for candidates with a fragrance-free policy.Artificial nails and cell phone use are not acceptable while on duty.
