Be sure this is added to the application prior to submitting in order to avoid delay. Also note, ICU exp does not count towards SD/PCU exp at this facility, therefore, you MUST have SD/PCU experience to be considered.**Targeted patient ratios are 1:4, can go up to 1:5-:6*Unit participates/may participate in team nursing model where RNs, LPNs, and PCTs partner together to care for a group of patients. The goal of this model is to divide the work and not the patients, ultimately improving both the workload and patient care. Nurses may function in either team nursing or primary nursing depending on the needs of the unit.

Schedule Information13 weeksMust Float to all Stepdown/Advanced Care unitsTraveler will be first to float at Premier's discretion. Agency will float in/out of specialty clusters.
Unit Specific InformationPatient ratios targeted at 1:4, up to 1:5-:6Team nursing model participation may be required depending on the unit's needsPrimarily focused on trauma patients with multi-system injuries including neuro ortho and surgical patientsTele/drips/vents, PCAs, epidurals, and moderate sedation for procedures are commonly handled in the unit
