- LOCAL Bill Rate - [REDACTED] regardless of contract duration (local is within 50 miles of home address to contracted facility)
- For 48-hour contract, OT is paid out after 48 hours

- **Their application MUST show some 1:5 ratio experience in the Work History section for SD or PCU, otherwise, the managers will not review it. Be sure this is added to the application prior to submitting in order to avoid delay. Also note, ICU exp does not count towards SD/PCU exp at this facility, therefore, you MUST have SD/PCU experience to be considered.
- **Targeted patient ratios are 1:4, can go up to 1:5-:6
- *Unit participates/may participate in team nursing model where RNs, LPNs, and PCTs partner together to care for a group of patients. The goal of this model is to divide the work and not the patients, ultimately improving both the workload and patient care. Nurses may function in either team nursing or primary nursing depending on the needs of the unit.
Job Details
- Must have EPIC experience

- Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment
- BLS & ACLS - must be able to read and interpret strips and have or be willing to obtain NIH
- Nurses will be fitted for N95 prior to working on the HRRU unit unless PAPR is offered/needed.
- Some level 1 or 2 exp required
- Travel experience preferred
Job Requirements
- 13 weeks
- Must Float to all Stepdown/Advanced Care units
- Traveler will be first to float at Premier's discretion. Agency will float in/out of specialty clusters.
Schedule Information
- Patient ratios targeted at 1:4, up to 1:5-:6
- Team nursing model participation may be required depending on the unit's needs
- Primarily focused on trauma patients with multi-system injuries including neuro ortho and surgical patients
- Tele/drips/vents, PCAs, epidurals, and moderate sedation for procedures are commonly handled in the unit
Unit Specific Information
- Premier Health reserves the right to cancel 2 shifts due to low census per 13-week contract.
- Premier Health reserves the right to cancel agreement with 2 weeks' notice without fee or fine.
- Travelers are not eligible for Premier health employee incentives.
