ID: 51666683 Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Description: THIS IS A CRITICAL CARE FLOAT POOL POSITION PEDIATRIC ICU EXPERIENCE REQUIRED **Traveler must be willing to get flu shot when requested**Required: CA License First to float to other units outside of the critical care units, including ED Will care for all age ranges and levels of acuity BLS PALS 2 full recent years of Pediatric ICU experience (PICU, CTICU, CRITICAL CARE FLOAT POOL) *for travelers with PICU exp - 15 bed minimum and higher acuity of care across ALL PICU/ICU areas Experience: Ventilators, trachs, multiple monitoring skills, specifically CVP and EKG. Shifts: 3x12 variable or straight night (4-5 weekend shifts sat-sun on day shift and then 5-6 shifts of fri-sat nights traveler gets off one full weekend every 4 week schedule) 13 week contracts Requested Time Off: Max 6 days (Must still get 3 shifts in per week) Must work 2 out of the 3 holidays Patient Population: High acuity unit seeing injury, respiratory failure, shock, multi system failure, poisonings, near drowning, meningitis, post op cardiac surgical care, **neurosurgery. The hours spent on modules are not billable and do not count as orientation hours.
