- ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support Required for certain units
- BLS: Basic Life Support Required
- PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support Required for certain units
- NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure as required by unit description
- TNCC: Trauma Nursing Core Course as required by unit description
- EFM: Electronic Fetal Monitoring as required by unit description
- Tech Cert Verification - National: Required based on Profession/State
- State License 1 Verification: Required prior to start
- NIH Stroke Certification: Required based on unit description and requires renewal every 2 years
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam: Required within 3 years of start
- Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam: Required for telemetry, critical care, and ED units
- MedStar Health – Modules (Sitels): Candidate will need to complete facility modules by HDD
- Physical Exam: Annual, stating capability to work, signed by MD, PA, NP, or DO
- Mask Fit Test: Required within 9 months of start and updated annually

- Start Date: 11/4, 11/18
- ***Pending DC license accepted but MUST have license prior to start date***
- Aya Paid OPEN LICENSE PROJECT
- Ratio: 1:2-3
- Cert Required: BLS and PALS
- Certs Preferred: IV Start
- Skill Required: Vents, CPAP and / or BIPAP, Central Line Care
- 2 Years Minimum Experience Required
- Must have 1 prior travel assignment
- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
- Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
- *May come into contact with Covid Patients*
- This facility requires that all employees have the Flu vaccine

- A valid driver's license will be required if driving on behalf of MedStar Health is an essential function of the job.
- Driving Record: Required ONLY if driving on behalf of MedStar is an essential function of the job
- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
- Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
