Requirements:

• CA license
• Minimum 1 year experience, 2 years experience preferred
• BLS
• PALS
• PCAR
• Electronic Documentation - Cerner
• Trauma Level I & II Experience preferred

• Avg. Daily Census: 2-4
• Rooms/Beds: 8/8
• Pt. Population: Neonates - Adolescents

CERTIFICATIONS

• Required: BCLS, PALS, PCAR
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED

Required:

• Minimum 1 yrs. Experience Required, 2 yrs. Preferred - Accepts 1st Time Travelers
• Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response: Interpretation of Dysrhythmias
• Endocrine/Metabolic: IV insulin protocols
• GI: GI Surgery
• Neurological/Psychiatric: EVD, ICP monitoring, Spinal cord injury, TBI
IV Therapy/Phlebotomy:
• Accessing Ports
• Arterial line management
• Blood Product Administration
• Central line care/management
• PICC line management
• Starting IVs

Medications:

• Continuous IV sedation
• Procedural Sedation Administration
• Titrate Cardiac drips
• Titrate Vasoactive drips
Respiratory/Thoracic:
• Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal
• Assist with management of BiPAP
• Assist with management of CPAP
• Care of Ventilated Patient
• High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
• Interpretation of ABGs
• Suctioning (ETT, NT)
• Ventilator Management
