- BLS;Medical Solutions Pre-Screens and manager will call for a 2nd interview or offer off of notes and profile.
- LEVEL I TRAUMA EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Basic Dysrhythmia Exam Required PRIOR to sending the contract, 2 attempts, if failed, candidate is DNU with CS AZ and Sacramento for 6 months

- A large hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced Medical-Surgical RN's for a travel assignment.
- The right candidate will have two years of experience (rehab experience is a plus).

- Hold an active BLS, and AZ license or compact.
Job Requirements
- Shifts per job posting
- Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts in 8 week period.
- Holidays: Work into core rotation.
- Floor specific orientation: 2 shifts
- 12 hour days, 4 total weekend shift per 4 weeks, 2 out of 3 major holidays
Schedule Information
- Unit: Neuro Rehab
- Number of beds: 52
- Certs: RN BLS, FIM / Tech BLS, FIM.
- RN with strong MedSurg experience required, Rehab experience preferred.
- Ratios: RN 1:6, Tech 1:8
- EMR: Cerner
- Charge Nurse: 2 Charge RNs with a light assignment depending on census.
- Nurse Aides: Yes
- Scrub Color: Slate grey.
- Tele: No
- Vents: No
- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: 3 Rehab Physicians round daily. On-call at night.
- IV Team: SWAT RN available for difficult IV sticks.
- RT 24/7: Yes
- Pharmacy 24/7: Yes
- Floating: Yes, to any MedSurg unit
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: 90% neuro population, low stimulation area, TBI, brain tumor resection, CVA, lung transplant, liver transplant.
Unit Specific Information
- Nurses need to be comfortable with high level of communication and personal involvement with patients and family.
- Partnership of care.
- Acute MedSurg care (IV therapy, wounds, etc.)
