RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.
REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:
Minimum Experience Required: 1 Year of Experience.
Will take first time travelers: Unit WILL Accept 1st Time Travelers
REQUIRED Skills: IV Start and Telemetry.
REQUIRED Certifications: ACLS, BCLS and NIH.
JOB DETAILS:
Ratios: 1:5-6.
Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the Unit through the Holidays!

12 HR NIGHTS
FLOATING IS REQUIRED AS NEEDED to similar units.
REQUIRED Weekends: 4 weekend shifts per each 6 week schedule .
PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Pre/Post Cath, Pre/Post PPM & AICD, Watchmen Procedures, Stress Tests, Management of Arterial & Venous sheaths, TIA population, Carotid Stent Patient Management, Card-Tele, Management of Arrhythmias, Management of cardiac drips: Cardizem, Amiodarone, Renal Dose Dopamine, Lasix Drips, and non-titrating Nitro Drips for stable CP, NSTEMI Patients.
SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: CPPU is a 24 bed inpatient cardiac procedural unit housing cardiac telemetry along with pre and post cardiac procedural patients. Average length of stay is 1.8-2.4 days in length. There is rapid patient turnover on the unit, daily. There is an ADT (Admission, Discharge, Transfer) nurse available on the unit Monday-Friday during peak patient transition times.
SCHEDULING: Any absences have to be made up at the end of the contract and cannot be made up as an OT day. If nurse calls out on a weekend shift, they will have to automatically make another weekend shift up at the manager’s discretion per the 2020 policy. Unit cannot promise a block schedule at any time. Will do their best to accommodate requests, but at this time, are not able to assure that a block schedule can be secured.
