Shift: Nights/ 7p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs/week, EOW, Holiday rotation with core staffLength: 13 Weeks
Requirements: 

• IL license
• 1 year of experience- surgical experience required
• Must have total joint experience
• Must have Understanding of PCA pumps, reversal drugs (narcan), sepsis management
• Experience with TPN/ Lipids. Narcotic usage
• BLS, NIHSS

Other Details:Float to like units only. If floated to higher acuity it would be to work as a help all and not take a patient load.Charting System: Allscripts - SunriseAccepts LOCALNurse:Patient Ratios 1:4-6 Nights 1:5-6Common diagnosis / Types of patients Neuro- laminectomy, cervical fusion, LESI, belly surgery-ostomies, hernia repair, joint replacement-total hips/knees. PICC, TPN, Lipids. Fem pop bypass, dialysis catheter insertions, BKA, AKA. DM (dialysis is also located on the 3rd floor) PCA, some epidurals, iv abx, chronic pain (narcotics), sepsis, urgent OR cases.
