A school district in Antioch, CA is looking for dedicated School Occupational Therapists OT to join their team for the 2024 - 2025 school year with the possibility to extend.?chool Occupational Therapists OTs who work for Pioneer Healthcare Services are dedicated professionals who interact amongst diverse populations and are enthusiastic about the difference they make in their patients' lives through assessment and treatment.?
Responsibilities of a School Occupational Therapist OT: * Plans, implements, and monitors activities that allow students to access and benefit from their specialized instructions. * Assesses and makes environmental and other adaptations to allow students to access and benefit from their program of specialized instruction * Provides clinical direction to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants COTAs * Provides training to special education professionals, and parents as appropriate * Carries out day-to-day activities designed to enhance the students' physical, motor, and sensory functioning * Maintains an inventory of district OT assistive equipment * New grads and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply - We will support you through this transition * Submits all billing logs and necessary information on a timely basis
