**Job Title:** Rehabilitation Therapist

**Certifications:** Maintain and update Physical Therapy skills and certifications as necessary
**Must-Have:** Proficient in DX and ICD-10 coding, and experience in patient care documentation
**Job Description:**
- Implement patient rehabilitation programs to improve mobility, function, and strength.
- Evaluate and treat patients using Electronic Medical Records for evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries.
- Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Aides regarding all aspects of patient care.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and staff to ensure quality patient care.
- Accurately document patient charts and follow-up as required.
- Ensure patient comfort and address any questions they may have.
- Collaborate with front office staff on scheduling and patient follow-up.
- Make independent decisions regarding patient care.
- Participate in business marketing and referral processes as needed.
- Follow HIPAA policies and procedures and ensure patient privacy.
- Comply with OSHA and federal and state regulations.
- Be physically mobile, including sitting, walking, and standing for 8-10 hours based on patient care schedules.
- Be able to lift 50 pounds and assist patients with mobility constraints and safety during transfers and ambulations.
- Encourage and report any concerns regarding privacy policy violations to the designated Privacy Officer.
- Actively participate in privacy training and communicate policy information according to company standards.
