About The Position
Pioneer Healthcare Services is looking for an experienced Outpatient OP Physical Therapist PT to join our team and provide therapy and rehabilitation services to patients in our physical therapy facility for a travel assignment.�The ideal traveler is a compassionate healer who cares about their patients and committed to helping them recover their independence and mobility.�We're looking for someone with experience working with a wide range of patient injuries and age groups, who is always ready to learn new techniques to further patient care.�Outpatient OP Physical Therapists PT will be responsible for coordinating with any healthcare professionals that are working with their patients and referring patients to specialists when appropriate. Responsibilities of an Outpatient Physical Therapist PT: * Providing personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to others such as coworkers, customers, or patients * Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic/magnetic form * Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources * Using relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards * Monitoring and reviewing information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems * Convincing others to buy merchandise/goods or to otherwise change their minds or actions * Using either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines or processes (not including computers or vehicles) * Providing guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance * Documentation is completed in a timely, complete, legible, concise and accurate manner * 13 week assignment Qualifications of a Outpatient OP Physical Therapist PT: * Doctorate in Physical Therapy * Must have an active Physical Therapist PT license * Current BLS / CPR Certification Pioneer Healthcare Services is located in beautiful San Diego and specializes in staffing and travel recruiting for nurses and therapists seeking jobs in the U.S. Our well versed team of professionals are devoted to providing exceptional wages alongside medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401K, housing, meals, incidentals allowance and even relocation assistance if needed.
