**Job Description:**
- Implement components of patient care and obtain data related to the treatments provided
- Collaborate with the Physical Therapist to modify care as necessary
- Assist the Physical Therapist in treating individuals of all ages, from newborns to those at the end of life
- Help patients stretch and exercise specific muscle groups
- Follow instructions from Physical Therapist
- Work directly with Physical Therapist to assist patients
- Communicate with families to find optimal at-home techniques
- Keep the physical therapy area clean and organized
- Assist with moving patients from wheelchairs or walkers to the physical therapy area
- Complete administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and filing paperwork
- Teach patients techniques like balance training.
