- Collaborate with the Physical Therapist to modify care as necessary.
- Assist the Physical Therapist in treating individuals across all age groups.
- Help patients stretch and exercise specific muscle groups.
- Work directly with the Physical Therapist to assist patients effectively.
- Communicate with families to determine the best at-home techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized physical therapy environment.
- Assist in moving patients from wheelchairs or walkers to the physical therapy area.
- Complete administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and filing paperwork.
- Teach patients techniques such as balance training.
