Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking an experienced Skilled Nursing Facility SNF Physical Therapy Assistant PTA�looking to travel to Williamsburg, VA for a 13 - week assignment.�Skilled Nursing Facility SNF Physical Therapy Assistants that work for Pioneer Healthcare Services are dedicated individuals looking to pave a new way in travel healthcare.�The ideal Physical Therapy Assistant PTA will have at least one year of experience, although new grads are encouraged to apply.�As a Skilled Nursing Facility SNF Physical Therapy Assistant PTA, you will be responsible for providing treatments to patients assigned by the Physical Therapist according to their plan of care.�In some cases, you might oversee Physical Therapy Assistant PTA student interns.�You will also be required to maintain records of patients' progress, and report any changes to the Physical Therapist
Responsibilities of a Skilled Nursing Facility SNF Physical Therapist Assistant PTA:
• Assist the Physical Therapist in providing physical therapy services according to the patient's individualized plan of care
• Assist in the implementation of appropriate treatment plans and carry out related programs and activities
• Instruct patients and families in appropriate care and use of braces, crutches, canes, prosthetic devices, and wheelchairs
• Report any changes in the patient's condition to the Physical Therapist
• Perform other relevant duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Physical Therapist
• Documentation is completed in a timely, complete, legible, concise and accurate manner
Qualifications of a Skilled Nursing Facility SNF Physical Therapy Assistant PTA:
• Physical Therapy Assistant PTA Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of work assignment
• Minimum of one year experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant PTA preferred, although new grads are encouraged to apply
