About the Job
**Job Title:** Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray
**Job Specialty:** Diagnostic Radiology
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** Evenings, 12-hour shifts
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum of 1 year of current X-Ray Tech experience in a hospital setting required
Previous travel experience preferred
Must have experience with patients of all age groups.
**License:** New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Certification required
Temporary licenses available with fast turnaround for equivalent state license holders.
**Certifications:** ARRT, BLS
De-escalation training from CPI, AVADE, or MOAB required as of 2024.
**Must-Have:**
- Proficiency in Fluoroscopy, Digital Radiography, Portables, and OR c-arm
- Bone Density Scan/Experience required
**Job Description:**
- Position patients on examining table and adjust immobilization devices as needed
- Complete routine diagnostic procedures efficiently
- Operate radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment and adjust controls to set exposure factors
- Utilize film processing equipment
- Operate mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment in various settings such as the operating room, emergency room, or bedside
- Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff
- Demonstrate strong ability to prioritize and organize daily workflow
- Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
- Display basic computer skills
- Adhere to dress code: Hospital blue scrubs (provided), business casual with a lab coat, personal scrubs, no hooded sweatshirts, closed-toe shoes, hair pulled back if longer than shoulder length, no dangling earrings
- Be willing to work two of the following holiday periods: Thanksgiving and the weekend after, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and the weekend after, New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day and the weekend after

Traveler candidates must have their own vehicle due to limited public transport options.
Local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
