- Basic Life Support (BLS)

- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to function independently and under pressure
- Strong customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with multitasking capability
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Familiarity with anatomy and pathology
**Job Description:**
- Obtain complete clinical history and assess for contraindicating conditions.
- Follow established procedures for the administration of contrast media to prevent patient discomfort or adverse reactions.
- Ensure proper patient identification, utilizing correct markers and documentation.
- Review radiographic images for quality and clinical acceptability.
- Respond to emergencies and assist with the maintenance of life support equipment.
- Assist other technologists across modalities as needed.
- Employ critical thinking, seek clarification on orders, and verify procedure details.
- Ensure patient privacy and comfort throughout procedures.
- Demonstrate sterile technique and competent venipuncture, if applicable.
- Adjust imaging techniques to minimize radiation dose while maintaining image quality.
- Report equipment malfunctions promptly for timely resolution.
- Clean, disinfect, and maintain equipment according to infection control policies.
- Clearly explain exams to patients to ensure understanding and cooperation using Acknowledge, Introduce, Discuss, Explain, and Thank (AIDET) principles.
- Participate in orientation and training of new employees and students.
- Maintain required documentation accurately and legibly.
- Produce high-quality images and ensure proper labeling and storage.
- Restock supplies and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Transport and position patients safely and efficiently.
- Perform or assist in clerical duties as needed.
- Maintain productivity and comply with regulatory standards.
- Participate in on-call duties when necessary and perform other assigned tasks.
