Job Responsibilities: Operate CT (Computed Tomography) equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation
Prepare patients for CT procedures, including explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their safety and comfort
Administer contrast agents as required and monitor patients for adverse reactions
Follow established protocols to capture images of specific body parts, ensuring accurate and clear diagnostic results
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to evaluate images and ensure accurate diagnosis
Maintain and calibrate CT equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards
Document patient information, imaging procedures, and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulatory requirements
Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide necessary assistance
Job Requirements: Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with specialization in CT
A minimum of 2 years of experience in CT imaging
State licensure in Radiologic Technology (if applicable)
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required
Strong knowledge of CT imaging techniques, equipment, and safety procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
