- Functional knowledge of all ancillary equipment including Varian TrueBeam and VitalBeam accelerator, Varisource/HDR, the CT Simulator, the Simulation workstation, and Aria Treatment Planning System.
**Job Description:**
- Administer radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a radiation oncologist
- Collaborate with the medical team to design and execute patient treatment plans
- Operate and maintain sophisticated radiation therapy equipment
- Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of treatment details in the Epic documentation system
- Comply with all safety protocols and regulations to ensure secure and effective treatments
- Assist in patient positioning and monitoring during treatments to maintain optimal safety and comfort
- Adapt to hospital needs by floating within the hospital based on census demands
- Engage in continuous collaboration and communication with the oncology team to support patient care.
