Job DetailsTraveler must meet all minimum requirements to be considered.Do not submit traveler who have or will have expiring licenses and/or certifications during time frame of entire assignment. Traveler will automatically be declined.Only submit traveler who can work schedule in posting and interested in the unit.Assist physicians or other providers with procedures performed in the gastroenterology and pulmonary endoscopy setting.Prepare and position patients for procedures, assisting providers during endoscopy, including biopsy specimen collection, polypectomy and balloon dilation.Restocking of procedure room supplies and monitoring of supply PAR levels.Troubleshooting of all specialty equipment.Adherence to strict infection control practices and use of personal protective equipment.
Job RequirementsAdvanced Endoscopy experience including ERCP, EUS, EBUS, and Celiac Plexus Block.Pulmonary procedures including Bronchoscopy, Thoracentesis, chest tubes, and pleurx drains required.5-10 years of experience assisting in GI or pulmonary medical procedures; basic cardiac monitoring experiencePrior traveling experience preferred.
Schedule InformationNeeds 2 completed references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only for work performed in the last two years).Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on the traveler's competency skills/experience.The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization.During the traveler's assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.
