- Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: Trauma, ortho, OR, long leg, scoliosis
- Experience or 'Must have' skills: experience with ortho views preferred
- Years Experience required: 2 years
- Previous Travel experience required?: preferred not required
- Average # of scans/studies per day: 40-50 with multiple x-ray technologists scheduled
- EMR &/or PACS: Meditech, McKesson PACS, CRTIS
- Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens): Siemens digital radiography, Siemens digital fluoroscopy, Siemens portable digital x-ray, GE c-arm
- Is there a Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech on each shift?: Manager M-F during shifts
- Do they use RRAs (Registered Radiology Assistants)?: No
- Radiologist in-house?: No
- Do they have to start IVs? (if applicable to the department): No
Job Requirements
- Shift Details: M-F 8hr shifts, 11-1900 with call - can adjust call/work hours to accommodate RTO
- Weekend Requirements: CT does all after hours x-ray, Rad Tech/X-ray tech on call for high volumes or major trauma. Low volume of call back for this position
- Holiday Requirements: Closed for major holidays with rotating on call hours
- Call or Standby requirement?: Rotating 1 in 2-3 call, staff technologists share call. on call weekends/holiday
- Response time?: 20 minutes
- Will they have to float/cover any other areas?: Help with transport in other modalities if not busy
- How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: 3-5 8-hour shifts depending on experience
Schedule Information
- How many scanners/rooms does this department have?: 1 digital x-ray room, 1 digital fluoroscopy/x-ray room, digital portable x-ray in ER, c-arm in OR, c-arm procedure room. 2 CT rooms, 1 mammo, 1 MRI, 1 Dexa, 3 ultrasound

Unit Specific Information
- Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity
- RTO required at time of submittal. Additional RTO will not be approved after submissions
