**Job Title:** Pediatric Respiratory Therapist
**Job Specialty:** Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified
**Experience:** 2+ years of PICU and/or NICU experience required
**License:** Valid State License preferred at time of submission
**Certifications:**
- RRT
- NRP
- PALS
- BLS
**Must-Have:**
- Epic experience (preferred)
- Flexibility for staffing needs
**Job Description:**
- Provide pediatric respiratory therapy primarily in intensive care settings
- Perform respiratory diagnostics and acute care for pediatric patients
- Exhibit flexibility to provide adult acute care when needed
- Float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals as required
- Ensure all compliance documents are submitted one week prior to start
- Maintain updated certifications in BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association)
- Maintain professionalism when floating to different hospital units
- References are required
- Return staff policy: must be away for 6+ months before reapplying.
