**Job Title:** Respiratory Therapist
**Job Specialty:** Respiratory Care
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** 12-hour day shifts, including weekends and holidays
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Level I trauma experience, teaching hospital, ICU, and pediatrics experience
Adult and PEDS experience preferred.
**License:** Rhode Island license required, must be obtained in hand within 4-5 weeks.
**Certifications:** BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred
**Must-Have:**
- COVID vaccine, booster, and flu vaccine required
Medical declination accepted only for booster and flu
No religious declinations accepted.
- Pediatric experience preferred.
**Job Description:**
- Provide respiratory care in a hospital setting, particularly in ICU and with pediatric patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
- Participate in the orientation process as required.
- Work effectively under the direction of senior medical staff.
- Maintain accurate medical records of patient care activities.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage critical situations in a Level I trauma center environment.
