**Job Title:** Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
**Job Specialty:** Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** Night, 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified
**Experience:** 2 years of respiratory therapy practice in an acute care hospital, with extensive experience in Adult Intensive Care and/or Neonatal Intensive Care
**License:** Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required at the time of submission
**Certifications:**
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP)
- Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS) – must be American Heart Association certified
**Must-Have:**
- Valid state license
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Modules completed during orientation (average 1-5 hours)
**Job Description:**
- Excellent working knowledge of the scope of respiratory care responsibilities
- Familiarity with Respiratory Care Department Policies and Procedures
- Shift is from 19:00 to 07:30, with the option to pick up extra shifts
- No required on-call, but may be requested occasionally
- Must work every other weekend
- Return staff must have been gone for 1 year to return as a traveler
- Background policy requires disclosure of any hits or DUIs prior to submission
- Modules are completed through e-learning during orientation
Hours spent on modules are non-billable and factor into the non-billable orientation hours
Applicants must be able to complete lab work within 3-5 days of signing
There is a 50 miles travel requirement, and locals can apply with rates adjusted accordingly
Only one holiday request off will be approved
