Job Title: Respiratory Therapist
Job Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Job Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified
Experience: Minimum 1 year required
License: Active IL license required or application in process
Certifications: BLS and RRT required
Must-Have:
- Experience in Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department settings
- Skills in managing airway devices, suctioning, nebulizers, oxygen therapy, and ventilator management
- Experience with Cerner charting system
Job Description:
- Work every other weekend
- Be on-call as required for the department
- Float within the scope to meet facility needs if necessary
- Open to block schedule requests, subject to manager's approval
- Teaching Hospital, Community Hospital, Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
- Facility has 562 staffed beds and is a Level I trauma center
- Scrub color: Any solid color scrubs
- Flu vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions accepted
- Complete non-billable virtual orientation and module hours on the first day
- Follow background policy and any required approvals before offer
