Travel Site Survey Technician at TEKsystems

Description:

As a Delivery Consultant you will be responsible for coordinating site walks and surveying various building(s). Engineer must conduct a comprehensive site survey at predetermined locations throughout the continental United States.

a. Perform at minimum exterior structural inspection, interior structural and floor plan inspection as well as roof inspection.

b. Perform overall assessment of the telecom closet or closets or designated communications area.

c. Work with building owners to determine acceptable alternatives for cable installation paths and external antenna placement

Responsibilities:

1. Ability to fly licensed Drone in rural/city locations (must be certified in FAA Part 107 Certification for U.S Commercial Drone Pilots)

2. Submit overall assessment of building layout/exterior and interior.

3. Provide aerial pictures of MDU/MTU location (using Drone).

4. Identify proposed DPU and radio installation.

5. Successfully complete assigned volume of site surveys on a weekly basis

1. 90% of Job will be traveling throughout the Continental US. (Sites include: California, Las Vegas, Denver, and Phoenix)

- All expenses will be reimbursed

2. Licensed to operate commercial drone.

3. Ability to work in tight timelines.

4. Ability to multi-task, schedule travel, schedule site surveys

5. Knowledge of fiber, coax cabling, STP, Cat6, Cat7

6. Knowledge of wireless technologies

7. Ability to work in an unsupervised environment.
