Essential duties include: Performing decontamination, distribution, inventory, instrumentation and sterilization duties. Adheres to safety and professional standards of conduct as a processing technician. Initiates and maintains positive relationships with co-workers and customers. Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment. Displays commitment to the mission of the hospital and its values.Required Physical and Environmental job requires the ability to walk six to eight miles in an eight-hour shift and to lift or carry objects weighing up to 50pounds. This job also requires that an individual be able to work under periods of high stress and in a consistently fast-paced environment. Exposure to communicable disease and/or body fluids.
