ID: 50809335 Shift: 5x8 11:00 AM - 07:00 PM Description: Job Specific Notes: Sterile Processing Tech 2Location - Baylor University Medical Center (Dallas,TX)Unit/Dept - Sterile ProcessingShift/Schedule - Monday thru Friday 1030pm - 700amESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLEPrepares rooms and organizes instruments, equipment, treatment trays and supplies for specified departments.Cleans and decontaminates instruments, containers and patient equipment using detergents and disinfectant solutions under regulatory standards and internal policies and procedures. Operates semi automatic and automatic sterilization equipment and washers.Inventories, orders, replenishes and distributes instruments, reusable medical equipment and medical supplies for general supplies and surgical carts.Maintains and controls inventory.
