Speech Language Pathologist needed for acute care setting in Torrington, CT
This is an acute care position with expected MBS proficiency and preferred FEES certification
Unit Size/Beds: 109 beds-coverage for all hospital departments, ICU and OP MBS
Expected Ratios: per patient volume; usually up to 8 -10 patients/day.
Cases seen: all departments, Stroke assessment/treatment, dysphagia, communication/language, cognition, trach
Years of Exp preferred: >1 year, can’t take a CF
Certifications required: CCC, MBS competent, FEES certified a plus
Acute care experience required
Shift hours (start/end times, days): Ideally Tuesday through Saturday; flexible, general day shift hours 8-4:30 and can be flexible to start between 7-9am)
