**Job Description:**
- Evaluate and treat individuals of all ages with health-related conditions affecting speech-language capabilities.
- Perform bedside swallow evaluations and barium swallow procedures when necessary.
- Administer and apply speech-language pathology treatments as prescribed by a referring physician.
- Develop and implement a plan of care using treatment techniques to restore or maximize function and prevent decline following disease or injury.
- Coordinate, supervise, and delegate tasks to supportive staff.
- Maintain personal competency and assure compliance with departmental standards.
- Provide input related to departmental budget considerations for optimal patient care and service.
- Communicate the organization's vision within the rehab team and through interactions with patients; align work efforts to support its fulfillment.
