**License:** MI State License and Clinical Certification (CCC by ASHA)
**Certifications:** CPR, BLS - American Heart
**Must-Have:**
- Ability and willingness to work with pediatrics to adults
- Ability to administer and evaluate standardized speech/language tests
- Able to perform video swallow studies
- Valid state driver's license
**Job Description:**
- Assist patients in the restoration or development of swallowing, speech, and communication functions through evaluation and treatment
- Conduct outpatient and inpatient bedside swallow studies/treatments and perform up to 2-3 video swallows per week
- Utilize EPIC documentation system
- Work in a 25-bed critical access hospital and outpatient facility
- Maintain a business casual dress code
- Participate in a 3-month onboarding program to assist with documentation and navigation of the hospital
- Work schedule is Monday-Thursday 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM and Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Will be the only speech therapist at this rural hospital but supported by 3 PRN speech therapists when needed
- Will not float to other units or departments but may be in different locations within the department
